As of today, it is with great regret and a little sadness that I have decided to retire from playing live gigs. I’ve been playing live for 39 years. I was hoping to make 40 but with the world as it is???? I can’t see the music industry recovering for a few years 🙁 The last 15 years in the GTS duo (and other projects I have been involved with) have been some of the best and funniest times. Greg Lines I thank you for that. Actually, the whole 39 years have been incredible lol 🙂 But its a whole new world we are living in now. The state of the world isn’t the only factor in my decision. The countless Km’s and 2 to 3 am get to beds are taking there toll lol 🙂 Just to clarify, I’m not giving up music at all. It’s time for me to reconnect with music, write and record what I like, get together every now and then with some friends and play just for fun. It’s been a blast! The places I’ve been to and the characters I’ve met! I would never of met without music 🙂 Ohhh, and the stories lol. I have made life long friends through my life on the road. To all the people that have seen me play live, I thank you. ☮️🤘
